i got a greedy e-manage for sale if your interested with cable. and sensor and software and usb link cable.... want 250 for it
Others may disagree, but I'm not sure a larger intercooler will really do anything with a supercharger, it's not like you're running massive boost levels. A smaller one will be easier to fit too. I bought mine for my turbo conversion off eBay.
A piggy-back ECU like a GReddy e-Manage Ultimate will let you get more out of the charger than something like an HKS FCD will, but it will need proper mapping by someone who knows the unit. You can get the same people to wire it in for you, or you can tackle it yourself (it does come with wiring diagrams for the IS200 as well as other cars, but there are quite a lot of wires involved, and you're tapping into the car's main ECU).
What you don't want to do is to pick an ECU that you like, and pick a mapper that you like, and find the mapper knows nothing about your ECU. Probably best to find someone who's worked with the IS200's s/c before and see which ECUs they know and recommend you use. You don't have to buy it from them though, you can always shop around.
It can depend on exchange rates etc as to where it's best to get it from. e.g. for my e-Manage Ultimate I bought it from Japan. I looked on eBay from the US but that worked out more expensive at the time. Don't forget to bear in mind custom fees, and what if there's a problem with it and you need to send it back. I think I paid close to £400 for mine with the harness.

I think providing cash flow allows, I will be going for something like a GReddy e-Manage, mainly because reliability is needed, and can't afford to have my car off the road as its my daily work car.
Definatley agree I need to get someone with some knowledge to set it up. I am quite good at the mechanical side of things, but have been proven useless at electronics!But after the horror stories I have heard, employing the right person first time is essential.

with a larger cooler there will be a benefit on hotter and colder days - but how much of a benefit still remains untested on our cars with the standard TTE cooler or the smaller ebay version that some of us have.
The only way to know is to measure before and after the cooler with some temp recorders.
ideal situation is the ambient temp, SC inlet temp, SC outlet temp , inlet of the IC, outlet of the IC and inlet to the throttle body. idealy all at the same time, but this is not so practical unless someone has a 6 way temp reader! It will prob have to be 2 temps at a time.
i looked at doing this a few years ago but could not find temp sensors for a cheap price that can cope with temps of about 80C plus. ( i suspect this is the outlet temp of the SC or higher)
EDIT: just found on ebay a fairly decent digital thermometer with thermocouples but they are short, if i find a long enoughand cheap enough ill do the readings.
