The TTE springs lower it so that it looks better. How much it will lower it dpends on what model year etc you are starting with. Most people tend to forget this and talk about "x" mm drop, but that's meaningless because the springs will give you a new fixed ride height - on a very early car this will be a pretty big drop because they rode very high, but on a later car it will be less of a drop.

On the TTE springs (aka Eibach) you will still be fine with road bumps etc.

Don't forget though, you will need your suspension geometry recovering/resetting after you lower the car, because it will totally change how the car sits. Well worth a trip to WIM to sort that out, especially if your car has never been WIM'd already (but even if it has been, it will need re-doing after a drop).

Lexuspat guys this may sound nieve and amaturish

so sorry for that LOL

but where can i find them, so when i do get some springs i can get it done

ive heard people talk about WIM but was never 100% on it

but as they say if you cant ask on a forum where can you

WIM are in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Their website is here. Like many others, I didn't really believe I'd notice the difference between the OEM setup and the WIM-spec geometry, but I was absolutely amazed at the difference - at the improvement in handling, stability on the motorway etc. It also fixes the notorious inner tyre wear problem, as Woz said.

WIM can fit the springs too if you like, but even if you get someone else to do it, or fit them yourself, then please do get the geometry reset.

rob the tte/eibach lowers the car by 30mm

That's the thing though rob, as I was saying - lowered from what ? The springs will give youa reduced ride height, but the actual drop depends on the ride height of your car before, which differs widely as I mentioned.
