I have found Sky's service excellent, including when I've added mods etc. I've just changed my house/contents insurance to go through them too now, they gave me a good quote for that.

Of course it always makes sense to shop around at renewal time.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Ignoring those of you with heavily modified cars (as you need your mods to be covered) but to everyone else do you actually make savings with these brokers compared with going via insurers directly?

I've tried all of these year on year but no one comes close to what Admiral charges me each year - will try again this year but they're always way out.

I have been insured with Admiral on a number of occasion.
There quotes are pretty good on the whole.
I use to do their service (muilti car) were the insured all your cars in the same house hold, but they kept getting all the details wrong.
Maybe this was down to them having this as a new service and it had teething problems.

Insurance can only be measured on when things go wrong.
My car not heavly modified.

well let me tell you if we all say you can only judge insurance by there claim service then stay well away from elephant underwritten by admiral

i claimed for an accident in january and the service was terriable 4 weeks to sort it out 2 weeks waiting for a hire car and then came in with a price that was about half the vehicles worth.

let me just say never going near them or admiral again

Just started my second year with Sky in december, had a quote from chris knott (WIM Trader) which beat the renewel quote sky gave me, which they matched with no problem! Made a non fault claim in April last year, was dealt with very quick, altough its the insurer not broker that does anything in such cases.

Thanks to all at Adrian Flux for giving me my new insurance policy.

And what a good deal.
£350 was much lower than my renewal quote from Sky plus a lower excess.

I also picked up their £52 a year breakdown cover that include european breakdown cover.
So I have a great all round package.:thumbup1:
