Good news that the speed limit is being raised from the pitiful 40mph on a 6 lane dual carriageway to 50mph, but it will ruin a road that was great for a blast, and 84 cameras will be an immense waste of money when we clearly can't afford it.

Had a bit of a fright this morning when I noticed there were SPECS cameras on the entry slip road to the A13 from the A406 and wondered how long they'd been there cared:

From what i read at the end of last year, there going to try and put these on every motorway/duel carriage way in the UK? It'll end up with packed smaller roads so people can avoid them plus go faster? another bonus for the government with all the fines they'll produce? :cursing:

yep,be careful up there..there is allways police car siting with radar uder the bridge(from A117 to A13 at day times)so you can't see them if you traveling to te city.I was stopt at 60mph jus after EAST HAM jun.(A117).....:cursing: 3 points :mad: 60£ :blushing:

Ok so these are still not active right? The cameras were going up fast, then govt changed, stopped camera funding and it seems to have stopped still.
