A while ago before i found this site , i was on the other side and asked the question what about having some nominated area reps as most of the other car owner forums that i was member of had and i used to help out as it gave me a chance to get away from the other half and her moaning for the day lol.

Well now i have been sent an email from the admin asking did i want to be the events co-ordinator and arrange areas and the such like and have the perks of being a moderator.

What do the hell do i do now? If i accept will i have to be nice to everyone lol, would i be barred from this site and there are prob more than a million different questions or hassles this would cause.

No, of course you wouldn't be barred from this site Phil if you accepted, we judge people on what they do here and not on who they are and imagined things they "might" have done !

It's entirely up to you. Would you like to be the events co-ordinator on that site, moderate etc, and put your efforts into there ? Only you can answer that one !

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Phil i think you go with what your head whats you to do.
The only thing is on the events they are not having much luck to get people to attend.
Read through the old event info and that is what you will see.

You will always be welcome on here.

One question i have though, say you wanted to attend a event on here would they allow this? i doubt it mate.

Yeah it's up to you mate, there might have been weird behaviour with some mods over there, but a lot of the members are still decent so a bit more coordination from someone interested in making a difference like yourself could be quite successful.

You could always just do it for a bit and see how it goes?

Who is the events organiser on here? Could you not organise Events for us instead? Big Grin

I used to feel really sorry for Johnboy on LOC with all the effort he put into organising events and then people not turning up or messing him about Sad

The way people were treated by the "owners" would put me off big time. Wozza was treated like dirt when a mod and the same people are still there doing the same things, you won't change them.

Just my 2p worth.
