Well I think the last few posts have made my mind up if I was in your position, I never met Johnboy but he did do a lot of good work - if that went unappreciated and even he became disillusioned with it probably not worth taking that route.

do you think your efforts will be rewarded there
do you think they will let you attend meets on another stand
do you think that people will attend the club stand
ask your self why are they asking you
If you look back at past history of the club and the turn out of members it slowly decreased due to how the site was managed, why would it be different now if you organised the meets they don't want to go out of there way to make that club grow hence why they are now asking you to assist because they don't want to
the owners on here make every effort to make all meets succesfull look at our history to date
The choice has to be yours mate

I put a set of LOC show plates up for sale for £1 ages ago and they are still not sold and taking up room in my garage :Chair:

I can't realy see him being stopped, becoming a mod on a forum certainly doesn't mean that you can't visit of take part in other clubs activities. At the end of the day if things don't work out the way you planned you can always give it up!
