My phone contract is up so I might start looking around at some different phones, particularly something that's good for the Internet.

Any recommendations ? Not keen on something with only a touch screen (no iPhone thanks). How about the Nokia N97 ? Any other suggestions ?

I'm not stuck on the N97, it's just something I spotted when looking around, as I said I'm open to suggestions.

I like HTC handsets. They are usually re-branded by T-Mobile, Vodafone, etc.

I am planning to upgrade to this: http://www.htc.com/europe/product/touchp...rview.html

It is a touch screen with a full qwerty keyboard.

I have the previous model to this and the only issue I have is the battery life, but I have e-mails and other data synchorising 24/7.

I was hugely against the iPhone but was offered one for a very reasonable price Nd loving it!

Running it on orange at the moment which took a bit of work but so worth it, using it to type this whilst walking down the street at the moment lol.

I use a HTC P6500 for work and have to say it's a well built piece of kit, the only downside as Alamkhan mentioned is the battery, I am connected for 10 hours a day via HSDPA and can just about get 2 days out of it.
My phone though is the N95 8Gb, one of the best around imo, you can have some trouble with the orange software that is loaded on but just flash the latest hardware onto it and it sorts everything out Smile
Can't say i've tried any of the newer Nokia's though.
I did try the iPhone, very good phone, shame the camera lets it down a lot. Some of the apps you can get are really fun and useful but a quick look around and you can easily find a Nokia alternative Smile

Kazi would be the best person to speak to, if he's on here yet.

Highly recommend the htc magic, it is brilliant but has not keyboard. I'm not sure if there are any new android handsets on the way but worth looking into as the OS is so great to use!

The N97 does look slick though so that's probably what I'd go for if I needed the keyboard and based on the N95 I had previously, they're great workhorses.
