Nissan’s new 370Z Limited Edition is hardly inconspicuous as standard, this latest offering will elt those with 30-odd grand in the bank stand out from the crowd even more.

Ultimate Yellow is the paint job and it signals a 370Z with everything that people expect of the 330bhp sportster along with exclusivity and “a potent visual impact that takes the 370Z’s muscular looks to new heights”, according to Nissan.

The 370Z Yellow gets design cues from the racing 370Zs from the European GT4 series. The wheels are 19in RAYS forged alloys plus there's special 370Z graphics down the car's sides.

Inside the Z gets black leather and suede, an integrated sat nav system, illuminated sill plates, special mats and a BOSE audio with eight speakers and a six-CD autochanger. Customers also get the heated seats, cruise control, speed limiter and all the other features from the 370Z GT Pack on which the special Yellow model is based.

With a six-speed manual box (a seven-speed automatic is optional), the Yellow balsts from rest to 62mph in 5.3secs and goes on to a restricted top speed of 155mph. A synchronised rev control during downchanges reminds you just how good the engine sounds – even when just trundling to the shops.

The Yellows for the UK are available from all participating Nissan dealers but definitely from all High Performance Centres where its big brother the GT-R is exclusively sold. The first cars will be available from September with prices from £31,650 (manual gears) or £33,050 (automatic).

A mate has a twin turbo conversion on his 350Z which pushes out around 400 bhp. It's not inconspicuous either, as it's a bright burnt orange colour and the twin dustbins out the back put out more decibels than Wozza's ICE . He's trying to persuade me to ditch the Lex and get a GTR, but the 370Z may be a more sensible (and cheaper!) option if I can still stand being left in the dust by his 350Z.:glare:

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Hate those graphics down the side, and like Dan I think the lights are a bit odd. But I still wouldn't say no !

i do like certain parts of the 370z but still think i'd go for the 350z? the graphics are too much like the old carrera ones and a bit dated for a newer motor? but at least they havn't added viper stripes to it  think the rear end is quite nice but the front could do with making a bit more meaty as it looks too much like a Hyundai coupe?
