Admiral
As some of you are aware I have just renewed my insurance, I was with Sky insurance services and now I am a happy Adrian Flux customer.
While reading my current credit card statement I could not believe that the company before Sky insurance Admiral has taken £400+ out of my card.
The latest statement say payed Admiral insurance company.:Chair::Chair:
I cancelled the policy last year when i moved to Sky.

Well ask them for the money back plus extra , for the inconvenience.
Also say because they took that money out of your account you were overdrawn, and incurred some bank charges and see what they say then, you could always say you went to the supermarket and had to put all your shopping back because you had no money left in your account. Tell them you are well pissed off :Chair::Chair:
hmmmm sounds very dodgy to me mate i'd get on the phone to them dob them in to trading standards for keeping your account details as well maybe (dont know if it possible tho)?
That does sound very dodgy, but I'd be more inclined to think that it's credit card fraud rather than admiral charging for a policy that you ended over a year ago.
Get in touch with admiral and your card company asap and check there haven't been any other charges that you don't recognise.
This has actually happened to me in the past when my credit card details were stolen and I also had a charge to admiral among others........
Dan i have phoned
I wanted my card sorted for my holiday in the next few days.
Parthiban how strange they done the same to your card although yours was stolen.
Sorry i don't mean to be racist but Admiral call centre is in India and the person i spoke with really had very little training, i am guessing they were reading from a card.
My credit card is sending me a form out to claim my money back.
Funny thing is Admiral have taken the money and not even suppied a policy.
Also you don't really know if your card details have been sold, so thats another worry.
Don't know if some of you guys remember that one of my other cards was used abroad while i was at last years JAE
What happened with mine was not admiral making the charge, it was someone else buying a policy in their name but using my card. It's very likely the same thing may have happened to you - I'm assuming there are no other unusual transactions then?
Ask your card company how the transaction was initiated - was it admiral taking the deduction or was it a card purchase online or over the phone?
And totally agree about indian call centres, I find them infuriating - it's not a racist thing, it's just that they haven't got a clue about anything........morons are morons whichever country they're in!
One other tip, don't ring the CS number for admiral, ring the renewals hotline as that gets answered in the UK
