hello all,ive nearly got my car mechanically sound and am going to start addressing the bodywork soon - i dont think the car has ever been clayed before and i have never used clay before - the car is the lexus metallic green-would i be right in thinking the bilt hamber clay is probably the best and easiest clay for a newbie to use and should i go for regular or soft ?

Some people have used blue tac and said that works, not tried it myself.
You really need to add spray while working the clay over the body work.

I still haven't done this before, but on the recommendation of many I'm going to just use blu-tack when I do finally get round to it.

Ive used the meguirs and sonus both are good, as said above you need to lub it very well

You really need the spray that come with this product.

Not really sure if water will do the same thing, as i dont know whats in the spray

T cut is a cutting polish, and therefore a mild abrasive which you only really want to use when you have to Smile

If you want to give the claying a go then i'd say get the Mequiars clay kit, like this CLICK ME? You get the clay bar and the quick detailer spray, so your ready to start claying and its good stuff as i use it quite a bit :thumbup1:
