I posted this in the car related chat, as it is car related.
Ok, so I have been making a toy car in DT at school. This involves making a aluminum chassis, a wooden former, and a plastic shell, and of course all the internals, motors, wires, axel, steering rack, etc.
So I got my first pics on Friday, this was with me just finished my vacuum forming using my wooden former, to make the plastic shell of my car, this is done by using a vacuum former and a thin sheet of plastic.
So here are some pics of what i got done on friday (i was doing my wooden former and everything that day too) I also did it in "Focus ST electric orange: Always been a fan of that colour:

But then after today, marked out all wheel arches, cut them all out, fitted wheels and put the shell on the chassis, from the start to the finish of me putting the wheels on:
These little holes in the front (there are also two on the back are for LED's)
Yes, the wheels look wonky as the angle I was taking it from was a bit messed up!
Now I'm gonna put the wheels in so they line up with the shell, and cut the axle down so it doesnt stick out. So it now looks like this:

Thought I would post as you would be interested in this type of thing.
It is a very complex project, and it does get easy sometimes Big Grin
I hope you like it
