OK with the impending sale of my car:mellow: What should I replace it with? It must be very economical, cheap to run and easy to sell on in 12 months or so?

Or you could try importing one of those things that Jay's wifes got:lol:

I agree with the golf as these are good cars that are easier to sell than the others imo.

The top 4 I am thinking seriously about are,
Prius, Golf, Avensis, BMW

Thing is my parents drive a Golf and it has broken down many times (5 times in the 1st year) - so that puts me off the brand, it ended up with a new engine in the end as it threw a con rod, 6K old.
Prius - "green" image, not that I'm green minded in any way, having driven one i am really surprised at how well it went.
BMW poor image - poor reliability according to some forums, turbo's failing early fairly common.
Avensis - it it just a little bland? good car though.....

Are we talking new here 2 tongues?

My fathers is 2003, mark 4 model, i dont know about the new ones, no cars seem to be built to the quality they used to, bmw included!!!

You are bound to pick up a prius on the cheap coz the throttles stick and try to kill people, who said a prius is boring

Should say a budget of 6K as buying at auction.

I'd get the beemer for driving fun - though may not be the most sensible.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).
