Possible tyre wear issue? Tony/WIM?
Had my IS200 since August 08 and have just come to the time to change my front tyres, upon inspection today I noticed that my front o/s and my front n/s have worn completely differently.
Having looked at the pictures of the tyres (see below) my o/s has worn badly on the inside and is lower in general than my n/s which has about 3mm of tread before the marker and my o/s is on or just below the tread marker.
Now as these tyres were on the car prior to me buying it i'm under the assumption that they were both changed at the same time so taking out of consideration that maybe due to a puncture or the tyres were changed at different intervals, dooes anyone have any ideas what could cause such a uneven wear?
The car is fully WIM'd (infact I think it was the guinea pig car for WIM) and Tony checked my tyres last year and could see even wear across them. I had a advisory on my n/s ball joint at MOT time as there was a little bit of play but not sure if this could cause any difference? I also remember that in Feb 09 (when we had all the snow) the car was parked up on the road side and a van hit my front o/s totalling the wing maybe this has nocked the geo out on this side explaining the odd wear on 1 side?

08-02-2017, 06:12 AM #3my thoughts too mate penny dropped this afternoon after the pics, innitially I thought that 1 tyre had just worn more than the other, it was only when I put the wheels on full lock that it really showed the bad wear.
