BC Racing are based in Taiwan. I don't think there's anything bad these days about being "Made in Taiwan", bit like "Made in China". So much is made there these days, it's a long way from 20 years ago when you'd mainly get shoddy stuff from Taiwan or China.

BC Racing are a huge company.

Well my next coilovers will be a good brandname. i prefer to pay a bit more and last than go for something cheap.

It is worth it in the long run as if you buy cheap you usually pay out twice costing the same as the expensive one in the first place!!

Yeah but equally you have to be wary of paying through the nose for a "known brand". I get the feeling that's what Tein do - they are good products but seem way overpriced these days - e.g their basic (not adjustable) coilovers are more expensive than the BC Racing ones, and do not have good reviews.

Well I am not sure since Teins cost the same price with HKS, Apexi and KW. Unless if you pay the name at the end of the day. Tanabe and Megan coilover sseem to be good and at a reasonable price. But again I will do a go research before I decide which brand I choose. When I bought the Ksports to be honest I did not have a clue about coilovers and I did not do a research. Also I bought them at a very good price 3 years ago. The only benefit I can say is that for the price you pay the Ride Height is adjustable via threaded body and not spring prepload. In other brands you pay much more for this option. Also they are very comfortable during driving.
