Late 2000- mines a late 2000 IS200 and that's got a top loading CD player (and yes it has ERR3'd on me, but I managed to get Lexus to replace it under warranty whilst the car was under 5 years old).

I think the bottom loaders code was 13902? Mines a top loader with 13903 code.

However I sold it to a guy driving a '99 plate IS200 Sport with 'Nav, although the plugs on the back are different, he bought the correct plugs that fitted my H/U from a breaker, cut the existing loom wires in his car and spliced them into the new plugs. H/U works 100% and so does the Sat Nav. Not a quick change but the bottom loaders do work with top loaders IF you are willing to cut your loom.
