when does the clutch need replacing????? how can I check it,I mean is there any test to check the clutch condition????

When it slips?

You usually know when it needs changing because you accelerate and the engine revs go higher but the speed stays the same or even drops, and it smells of burning clutch.

I still have a clutch for an IS200 if you want a good quality one cheaper then the dealers sell them.

You'll know about it when it starts to slip. Its really noticable.

thanks for replies :wink: the thing was,me and my mate were fooling around in our IS (no speeding :closedeyesSmile and he decided to do a burnout,which end up in white smoke not from rear wheels,but from the engine :lol: there was nothing left from his clutch.....
