Hurricane Good work there. Looks like quite a lot of hassle with all those intercooler pipes in the way. What oil filter is that you have got? We need to get hold of the shorter filter to be able to fit a sandwich plate like you have.

Yes mate not too much space available with the TTE pipes. The oil filter is similar specifications with the Mahle OC11. I could not get reach of one of them so i got a similar one from another brand, but i just found out that i can use the Lexus 3000 series oil filter for my car which is a bit shorter that the 4000 series i was using currently and much bigger than the small i got to fit on the engine today. So next time i will fit a Lexus OEM filter Wink

After the installation of the oil cooler kit we used 4.8liters of Motul oil. ie with the oil cooler kit it requires to add 600ml.

Ok i have a few questions and i need some help. I got the oil cooler kit not only to protect the engine from the warm weather in Greece during the summer period but also because i intend to fit soon an oil temp and oil pressure gauge on my triple gauge pod. The Mocal oil cooler kit has a sandwich plate without any ports to fit the pressure and temperature sensors. Does anyone have any suggestions what i can do in this case? I have read somewhere on the web that i can fit a t-piece section between the oil line and the sandwich plate. Will this work and is it a correct method or not?

Gord You don't have to use the sandwich plate mate, for the oil temp, you can but a oil sump that the sensor fits into, and you can T off the oem oil pressure sensor, or you can do what you said and fit T between sandwich plate

Thanks for the reply mate but i do not understand this part "you can but a oil sump that the sensor fits into, and you can T off the oem oil pressure sensor" Big Grin

Where exactly do you position the oil temp sensor on the sump? is there a certain position?
