Saw Gord on the way home, and Mr Hybrid also passed us.... we decided to take the outside lane (that goes onto the other side of the motorway)... however this was more or less standstill and the other 2 lanes on the left seemed to move more freely, but near the end there was a good run and we seemed to catch up to a lot of people who passed us as they had just opened the 2 junctions again..
I was Shattered. Went bed at 12pm friday... had about 1hr sleep and woke up at 4am.... didnt get sleep again till 2am sunday, and got back about 10pm... after we set off at 4:20 :|
But good trip all around, cant wait for the next one
I'd be suprised if a speedo was only 3-4 mph out at 90. Maybe at 40, yes, but as the speed goes up the discrepancy would be bigger usually. Not sure how accurate the reading you get from a satnav is, after all it can only pinpoint your position with a margin of error.
DJ Wozza we're going offtopic here (maybe start a thread someone ?), but with the IS250 Sport wheels on mine, my speedo at an idicated 70mph is approx 3mph too fast on a flat road according to GPS (67mph).
