touch up paint availability
thats what im after bandit- a touch up pen as opposed to a tiny paintbrush in a tiny pot-they do a much cleaner job on light scratches-never knew there were two greens though-ill check my paint code to be sure in the morning-thanks again everyone !
bandit did you fit that clutch yet ?
Yes, the paint codes are the same between Lexus and Toyota. It's just that they will have different names, e.g. Lexus Platinum Ice (1C0) is called something else by Toyota, but it's still a Toyota 1C0 touch-up kit that you can get.
There is an earlier green and a later green. Bit like the blue, which changed also.
I *think* 6Q7 is the earlier green, but it would be good to know for sure, then I'll edit the post on paint codes accordingly. Yeah, a quick check of the VIN plate will tell you, as Oli said.
Have fun with the 250 !
The car is still going very well, thanks !
Edit - hadn't noticed Ormi saying his is 6Q7, when I posted this originally
edeath mines a 2001 and its 6q7. Can deffo get it mixed up at Halfords as well as getting it from Toyota/Lexus
