disgraceful is what i say........

theres no magnificence in the sport any more, no excitement, to many rules, to many busy bodies.

Anyone remember the 6 wheeled tyrell? awesome innovation and was the best cornering car of the time (although the tyres wouldnt stand up to much)

we will never see such things again, which is a shame, it really is

Bandit i watched the 1st race and that was so boring i've not watched it since!

Shouldn't have done that, every race since has been a cracker! :w00t:

Agree about too many rules though, they just keep interfering too much. But they should be sticking to proper engines, at least V8s, not some 4 cylinder rubbish and trying to make those as economical as possible to showcase how a big engine can sip fuel........

In any case I can't imagine a few races of a few hours each can really have that much of a carbon impact.........

Not compared with shipping all the gear all over the world - now thats real carbon footprints. Could be the highest carbon footprint sport in the world?

To be honest i lost interest in the F1 when Schumacher used to win nearly every race, it was like knowing the end of a film before it had started, which killed it off for me with him having no real competition?

Touring cars used to be pretty good with loads of overtaking, smashes etc, but even that's like watching a parade lap now? Motorsports gone to pot over the last few years, which is a shame:Chair:

Yep it was good, but isn't quite as insane as it used to be. But everyone make sure to tune in this weekend - for some reason all the drivers go crazy at brands hatch and it's usually a good one!
