lexynik parthibian at least your dad is ok as has been said,metal can be replaced , people cant , sorry to hear this has happened though,we seem to be having a spate of this kind of thing lately
Of course mate, no one's really that bothered about the car as obviously it can be fixed/replaced - only thing that annoyed me was that whoever did it effectively just rammed him and then drove off so would like him to be brought to justice :Bazza:

16-03-2017, 07:32 AM #13i know the feeling - i had my claim against the guy that hit and ran on me denied as it occured on private ground-i just dropped the case of criminal damage against him as it was gonna be a lot of aggro with little hope of any result - however the police have referred to dvla to reassess his capability to drive apparently as he is in that age bracket ! which made me feel a bit better knowing he will most likely have his licence revoked due to failing eyesight which will keep everyone else on the road just a little bit safer
