DaveEdin I'm guessing that TDI's not exactly a respected supplier then? Noticed a few threads where people are suggesting that they're a bit poor, just wondering really...
maybe use them for parts only but you will find it cheaper elsewhere. but forget going to them for actual tuning work unless u want engine failures or dash warning light bulbs removed. they will try sell you things u dont need also.
in this case, i guess mr toyota knows a bit more about exhaust design than mr tadpole, if balance pipe would be better then they would have put it on the original.
ask for dyno proof and see what answer you get, in fact ask for any dyno proof on any project they have done - long story over on the other site that has probably been deleted.
