Don't do it, I had the 4.1 ratio and hated it so much!! When the 3.9 was put back in it drove substantially better - really bad move playing with diff ratios. All the internals are swappable between the IS200 and Altezza's, just the mounts that connect the drive shafts are different - they are easy to swap though, and the Altezza drive shafts are interchangeable also.

I don't think it's a straight swap between them. Do you mean putting that into an auto IS200 or a manual IS200 ?

Why would you want to put in a different diff ratio ? Putting a lower one in will slow down your acceleration but increase your top speed. It will make you do less revs at an equivalent speed, but then the IS200 isn't exactly noisy anyway ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

The IS300 ones are bigger IIRC and don't physically fit, the drive shafts are different, the ratios are wrong, I also think the bolt pattern for the prop is different - although that is a guess from something I heard Wayne (Supratruck) chatting about.

It is with a manual.
I would like to spar a little petrol, because the IS200 because at the same speed lass turns.

So the whole it is not installed possible. what if you swap just the offal, so only the final gear. is that possible?

I think the final drives are compatible, at least they look like they are from the parts diagrams, all the other parts are the same so I don't see how the final drives would be somehow incompatible. I've never tried it myself though !
