IVe got a credit score of 980, been working very ahrd the last two years as my old employer paid me late one month and i had 6 direct debits fail and destroyed my rating.

I got it back to 980 and i couldnt get a loan for my lexus from anywhere (except lexus finance)

What they failed to see was my old car cost me £264 month, but my new one would cost me £219 a month.

seems they cant do maths....

parthiban the interest rate is bound to start rising as soon as the election is over, and most predictions put the base rate up to 1.5-2% by the end of 2010 which will obviously have quite a drastic effect on the housing market.

Add 20% Vat, £1.35 fuel and hello to another recession.

Whoever gets in is in for one of the hardest political rides ever. I for one wouldn't want the job.

Does make you wonder - Does Gordon B think "It's all fecked, sod it, let's lose and let the next bunch get on with the problem, and we;ll take the easy job of sitting in a seat and shouting abuse at them for a few years!"

Not sure if I've said this already, but my personal opinion is that GB is trying to kill the pound - get it to 1:1 with the euro and then switch over........

And if we get a hung parliament, think labour and lib dems will gang together to make this happen.

Not with the current state of the Euro, would anyone join that currency, we are very lucky not to be in the position some other EU countries are in. Our ability to govern our own interest rates has saved this country so far.......
