Plug-In Engine Management

Dedicated engine management systems built for a specific applications. Link currently offer play and play solutions for Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Honda.

Very little installation is required as they plug directly into the factory ECU connectors.

Link Plug-In Engine Management Systems provide an invisible installation as they are installed in place of the factory circuit board inside the original ECU casing.

They are packed with motorsport features such anti-lag, launch control, flat-shifting, built-in boost control with a 2.5 bar map sensor!

Like the Wire-In systems, they are fully adjustable using PCLink tuning software and can be used with the DisplayLink.

G4 Plug-In Key Features (where applicable)
  • Up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping
  • Precision closed loop cam control (four cam, independent control)
  • Sequential fuel delivery
  • Digital triggering, all OEM patterns
  • Rotary - up to four rotors, fully sequentially staged injection and sequential ignition
  • OEM idle hardware supported
  • 5D boost control with three switchable tables
  • Motorsport features - antilag, launch, flat shift
  • Continuous barometric correction (on board)
  • CAN port
  • QuickTune - automated fuel tuning
  • Individual cylinder correction
  • USB tuning cable included
  • Stats recording into on-board memory
  • Gear compensations for spark, boost and fuel
  • Real time selectable dual fuel, ignition and boost maps
  • Sync and crank sensors can be a combination of Hall effect, variable reluctance or optical
  • Boost control referenced to gear, speed or throttle position
  • Up to 4MB internal logging memory
  • Staged injection
  • Firmware updates available online (linkecu.com)
  • Knock with “windowing” via additional G4 KnockBlock

Wire-In Engine Management

Wire-In Link Engine Management Systems are designed to be installed in virtually any application. They are armed with numerous multi-purpose inputs and outputs to allow connection to a wide variety of different sensors and output conditioners.

In nearly all applications, Link Wire-In Engine Management systems use factory engine position sensors eliminating the need for complicated expensive installations of sensors on the crank and/or cam. (Trigger wheels and sensors are available however)
