18-03-2017, 07:50 AM #2I was under the impression that the W58 wasn't the most ideal gearbox? Heard it's power capabilities aren't as good as the R154 or V160/161?

18-03-2017, 10:43 AM #4Yes the W58 is NOT as good but for some conversions it suits. R154's are becoming harder and more expensive to find and the V160 is like Rocking Horse Do Do. Hence why we went for a TKO series adaption. More torque capability than the V160. Also the V160 does not have a detachable bell housing and so make correct installation more problematic.
