Old TT or a new one?
The 1.8t and the V6 perform almost identically 1.8t is 225bhp IIRC, the 3.2V6 is 247bhp and loads heavier.
Still a lot more power than an N/A IS200 though
Edit: Also, if you're using iridium plugs you need to be VERY sure that you don't keep them in the engine a minute longer than the manufacturers specified service life. We have lost 6 MR2 engines on IMOC recently due to iridium plug disintegration and they were all past their shelf life.
