De-modding the Lex :(
Well me and Sarah have swapped cars so that we can save more money towards a house as she does less miles to work so makes more sense her driving mine and i can drive her 1.0 litre yaris
Well she went to work today and text me saying that she doesn't like the B&M shortshift so wants it off the car. Went and picked it up and have just this second taken it off and put the standard shifter back in. I was begininning to loose interest in the Lex but after taking that short shifter off i just really don't like driving it now!!!!! Didn't realise how precise that shifter was till i took it out! Gear change was so precise and crisp and not if feels like a bag of old bolts! :mad: Not happy!!!!!!
Will only be a matter of time before she starts wanting other bits changed! :glare: I NEED this buggy built even more now so i can put the fun back into driving again!!!!!

I don't know what else she will change her mind about but the short shift was my favourite mod on the car! Made the car a joy to drive and just felt like no other car........

DaveEdin can you fit it to the buggy then?
No unfortunately. But the quickshift for the buggy is only like £20 where as the B&M was alot more, and in fact it was actually a gift from her on my brithday about 4 years ago! :ohmy::laugh:
