i had my coilpack replaced last week at lexus and in turn the eml light turned off twice,once on the test and then a 2nd time as it had come back on by the time i went back to have the coilpack fitted - when they turn the light off is that classed as a full ecu reset or just a code clear ?
my mpg has dropped noticably this week so was wondering if it will be re-learning so to speak or if my drop in mpg could solely be down to some over vigorous driving i may have been drawn into during the week ?

Snow on short journeys. Power on longer ones? Dean has tried the snow button, but didnt come to effect. Although im guessing its probably because he has had his foot to the floor/full gas to get it going in snow, which may use even mroe fuel to get going?

Think dean tried power once on longer journeys. Still not caning it though just because its in that mode. Dont need as much gas to get going thus reduce MPG. Dont knwo if it works, but people differ to which one suits them. Suppose it all comes down to how you drive it.

22-03-2017, 11:58 AM #10it just seemed odd that my mpg changed so much after a coilpack change,i will have to see what it does this week driving normally,usually when i brim it i get 120-140 miles to the first quarter(i think cos you get about 20 miles or so before it gets down on the gauge)
