What type of wheel nuts on IS200 rims?
What type of wheel nuts on IS200 rims?
Top man. I have ordered some Standard toyota nuts, which are the same as the is200 and the rev 5 front wheel nuts. Also got some locking nuts as well. As i am fitting is200 rims it should work out ok.
Just a thought though, i am fitting 20mm spacers to the rear. Will i need to cut down the studs for the wheel to fit flush without fouling on the ends of the studs?
Do you mean the studs in the spacers or the studs in the hub? The studs in the hub should disappear into the wheels, a lot of rims the gap between stud holes isn't solid. If the inside wheel face is solid then yes you'll need to trim them, providing they are not dwarfed by the spacers!
For example this wheel has gaps on the inside face that the protruding studs would fit into:
Yeah the is200 rims are solid. They do have small holes drilled between the stud holes, but they aren't anywhere near large enough for the studd to sit into. I guess i will have to just wait and see when the spacers turn up
