I killed a tyre
I killed a tyre
Looking a bit dodgy that tyre mate
When i did the centre caps on my is200 alloys, the badges were held on by 2 bits of melted plastic on the rear of the caps,
i just cut off the tops and the badges flicked off :thumbup1:
It does, but its not just 1 lexus alloy. Ive got the pair on the back, and although they are 1 inch smaller wheels, the bigger tyre profile means i have the bigger tyres fitted on the back. Its only till tomorrow, im getting a new pair of tyres fitted to the lexus alloys so they fit on the front, (215-40-17). Then ill put my other pair of lexus alloys on the back when i get home.
Couple more pics of the tyre. You can see how deep the tread was
You are right about the centre caps, i just need to cut the lugs off
It seems like im just collecting wheels and tyres. Ive just gave a full set away and i still have these
American Style, i love it
Your as bad as me with the wheel collection mate
You haven't got a set of 17" 5x100 there? want a set for the celica
I just used a hot soldering iron to remove the bits of plastic on the caps mate, then popped the badges off? :thumbup1:
how come 215 45 17 dont fit the front???
i am sure i've seen bigger than this on mr2's???
I just got back from having a pair of 215 40 17 fitted to the IS200 rims so that they now fit on the front. Ill fit the other pair on the back when i get home. Then a quick wash and were all ready for tomorrow
Yeah i had to go to Duxford yesterday for a conference, so the front of the car is covered in dead flies.
Only cheap and nasty budget tyres for now. When i get round to refurbing the wheels im thinking i will get a decent set of tyres all round providing i can afford it
