What is the differential ratio of an IS200?

Hurricane Sounds about right. The sports had the higher ratio
It didnt.
All Manual IS200's have a ration of 3.909, the autos 4.1
The Altezza has one of 4.1 as well auto and manual

Thanks Stav for the info. So I suppose using an Altezza crown on an IS200 the acceleration will be better and the loss of top speed will be small.

You can get the TRD diff to change the final drive ratio, which will speed up your 0-60. But it will lower your top speed, and make more noise and use more petrol (because you'll be doing more revs than before for the same speed).

Yes you are correct mate. Do you know by chance what is the loss of top speed? 10miles or more? Also what is the difference in revs at the same speed? 500rpm or more?

It depends which ratio you go for in the diff, I think there have been a few different ones on Altezzas, it's more complicated than the IS200. If you were going from 3.909 to 4.1 then that's around 4.9% difference, so I think you'd lose 4.9% off your top speed, which is about 6.5mph I think. And your revs would be 4.9% higher for the same speed. I think that's how it would work.
