Just taken the badges off the back of my car. And left with some right nasty black rubbery/glue stuff. Sad Gutted.

Anyone got any ideas how to shift it???? :confused1:

hair dryer and rub it off, then some tar remover and a polish

Have used to hair drier to get the worst off. Bit gutted coz paint has chipped in a couple of places. But I am going to get a few bits touched up anyway, so can add them to my list.
Going to helfrauds now to try find some cleaner, to get the rest off.

Got some pics of the completed job!

Heathers nails did the best job of removing the gunk!

Only problem is I was a bit harsh when trying to get the gunk off, and have marked the paint. Sad
If anyone has any ideas how I might repair the paint????

i would have thought that'll disappear with a good polish, looks good though

Wax won't help, it'll just seal it in! You need to use a cutting polish to get that out.
