03-06-2016, 02:03 AM #24If the auto dipping function is fitted to both mirrors could the system be configured work with the car indicators, so when reverse is engaged with an indicator enabled the appropriate side mirror dips and when it is only reverse engaged the mirrors do not dip?

i will look into the possiblity of combinig the :-
- Mirror closure
- Mirror dipping
In one box along with the possibility of it reacting to which way the car is indicating (might be a tad harder but could be possible lol)

yes it does always dip them down however you could have a kill switch mounted under the dash tray that stops them from dipping if you are reversing out a drive etc
i will look into the possiblity of combinig the :-

Marsdendean im not too bothered about the indicator. Would it be possible to link to the left mirror switch, then kill it if its in central position ??
Yep I asked about this earlier if it could work like the newer ISs, left dips the left mirror, right dips the right mirror and with the switch in the centre neither mirror dips.
Probably more hassle than it's worth, only really need the left mirror to dip and as long as there's an off switch somewhere that will probably do.
Btw, I'm still interested if you're counting numbers
