Hi guys,

Thought I would take a wander over and register here with you all. I was talking with Andy over at Japfest yesterday afternoon as the show was winding down, there was another chap there in an orange t-shirt didnt catch your name though. I was there with my better half Lisa who I think Andy has known for some time now.

My name is Matt, I am a regional rep over on the MR2 Owner's club. Had MR2's for about 4 years now. I live in Cardiff and the better half lives near Bath so if there is any meets / drives happening in those area's I would love to come along and meet some new faces. Could be a nice change to meet up with some Jap owners other than just MR2's.

I am not the most technically minded person but if anyone has some trouble / questions then I'll do my best to help. Although I did hear yesterday that Toxo ( off of IMOC) is a member here also so I would say you are better of asking him :blushing:

Any who, time for some pic whoring!! This is my first MR2 from back in the day. A pretty standard MK1 (rust free!).

I then got the bug for some modifying so moved on to the MK2 Non-Turbo (insurance reasons hehe). I bought it completely standard and rather quickly progressed it into my first "show" car. Last year at Japfest it was chosen as one of the show cars for the club stand.

After I had run my course with this car I went on to the next logical step which was the MK2 turbo. Another reason for the move was that my Girlfriend drives a MK turbo and I got fed up with the daily insult of having a slower car than a girl! So here is my current money pit. Going into to bodyshop this month for a full bodykit and repsray!. Current modifcations are as follows: -

Lenso D1R 17" rims wrapped in Toyo's
Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust
Berk Tech Down pipe
Berk Tech Intercooler
Apexi Induction
Blitz S/S BOV
HKS Boost Controller running high boost of 1.15 BAR.

Need to get it confirmed as I have seen some different results, but she has the potential of running good power. not sure on the accuracy of the RR yet but showing nice graphs of 309.1 BHP.

Any who, sorry for waffling on. Hope to meet some more of you guys at Japshow. I'm off to go look around the Forum :thumbup1:
