Dan and I went to JTS last year, they did a MR2 world record attempt round the track that I took part in. I think this year it was Nissans? Also last year Phil & Heather's yellow MR2 was on that autoglym show'n'shine stand.

It doesn't look anywhere near as busy as last year... the parking area infield was rammed with tasty metal and it looks a bit sparse in some of your photos. Similar weather too, stonkingly hot!

I was gonna go with MissBanzai but I went to a wedding Saturday and I was in no fit state to be driving anywhere Sunday :Fish:

The interior of that Supra was gash, the leather on the passenger side wasn't smooth, had air bubbles, 2 bits joined together along the centre............. Not good.

Good to see Stevie again though and even had a very quick go of his RC, very responsive, and fast!!

A lot of money for the entrance fee £20 each, for a quiet show IMHO. Could be because there was a big meet only last week????

The drifters were good and the R/C boys put on a good show.
Even in silhouette Stevie is unmistakable:p

steviewevie Since no-one else has commented on it, maybe it's just me who thought this was an absolute monstrosity Confusedhock: :Chair:

What a way to treat a Supra

I'm glad it was a NA he did it to and hasn't destroyed a turbo Smile

Not quite sure how to take that last bit

Did you come back and see the "proper" drifters ? Looks like you did from that pic of me ? I was well chuffed with how I did in that bit of the finals (even though I lost), if it's what I'm thinking of where I was against the guy there who is just walking away - he is *very* good.

Edit - sorry, just saw your response on this in the other thread.

There was a green car going round with a white one, very close to each other, just like the real drifters!!

Ahha I know the guy who owns that MR2, his was parked up next to mine at Duxford. Ridiculously tidy engine bay for a '2!

Yea very tidy indeed, there was another MR2 but didn't look that good TBH, rust and paint damage to the sills and front end.

Heather was commenting how the MR2 looks far better with leather interior - this one had the standard cloth.
