Here is the information we gathered. Now if you have an open diff in your IS and want to install an OEM LSD differential, you know what to look for!

However, I presume this is specific to the IS300, which has a different ratio for the diff. I would guess that the IS200 diffs have a different code, if this sticker is even there (surely those who have looked at diffs at the scrappy would have noticed a big sticker :confused1: ).
Also, auto IS200s don't have an LSD, do they ? Sounds like the auto IS300 can do though, in the US at least.

The parts list also suggests that the auto IS200 didn't have an LSD, even as an option (as I think we already knew).

You mean putting a 3.9 diff in, instead of 3.6 ? You will get slightly better acceleration but lower top speed. You will also get increased noise and fuel consumption. Basically you will have higher revs at the same road speed when compared to before.

You mean putting a 3.9 diff in, instead of 3.6 ? You will get slightly better acceleration but lower top speed. You will also get increased noise and fuel consumption. Basically you will have higher revs at the same road speed when compared to before.
