hi all

ive got a Y plate is200 and its showing signs of its age the bloke who owned it before done aload of motorway miles and the front bumper is stone chipped to hell.

phoned a local body shop and they want 300 for the job.

that seems alot for a plastic bumper i would try it myself but its the Granit sky colour and dont think i can

also im lossing the paint on my back near side rear quater what the hell Confused

That does seem a bit high for a bumper respray, i think you need to shop around.
When i done the stone chips on my wifes car it cost £220 for the bonnet and bumper.

spray cost vary widely mate, youve got to find a medium between price and quality

I paid £350 recently for extensive fibreglass repairs AND respray to my front bumper... your price seems high for what by the sound of it is just a blow over/stone chip repair. I bet that's not including VAT either.

I've a mate who's in Lincoln who's into cars, I'll ask him if he knows anywhere good and get back to you.
