If you look at this thread this will give you a guide to what it would work like but on a SC430

Rabster will be back at the weekend and he will be able to give you a full break down on how and what he has done and i sure a video or picture of how it all works..
Hi Crysec, you can get the sat nav unit for between 50 and 200 quid but then you have the cost of a touchscreen to go in it that will be another £150(touchscreen)
reverse camera cheapy one maybe £30 (must be waterproof)
if the headunit has a video out you can link this direct to the screen then when the car goes in reverse it will be up on the screen at the top or a little box of tricks can be made to switch the video signal as soon as its in reverse wozza has one of these boxes, was made for him by a man more talented than me but im sure we can sort one out for you.
a simple pc to use in the glove box would be about £170.
so in theory by spending all the above your getting on the price for a all singing and dancing unit....
if you check my garage link i have some pics of most items but as ian said im away till after the weekend ish then i can get some more pics up.
Rabs
So this afternoon I fitted my onboard compter / gps / entertainment system following posts from OJC. Was not at all sure about it all to begin with but happy to report it was pretty easy Though, I did get a bit annoyed swapping out the amp by-pass cable. In fact I think I said "gosh, this is quite fiddly" at one point.
Couple of minor problems like forgetting to screw the top tray back in to the vents (that was annoying), but all worked out well. If anyone wants a working factory CD / radio you can have it free on 1 condition;
1: I'd really like the CDs back that I forgot to take out of it! :blink:
Little info on the pic, the iPod has a dock down in that tray area, the GPS unit fitted nicely onto couple of screws holding plastic assembly via a slotted metal rod, and the antenna I routed up into the top tray.
Might add a TV box in future but right now I've more than enough toys in the thing.. .
Dark, I found the thread (hope it's the same "dean").. .
