well ill get the story out clear up for ye. . but keep it to point ha. i started by putting a turbo on my is200 got all mechanical done and brought it to get mapped got messed around by few lads and eventually got what was supposed to be right. your man who done wiring for me (did everything myself besides wire emanage) engine blew up on way home from mapper. left it in bits :Shooting:
but that engine he said was not idiling right blaming **** emanage and fault in throttle body. so put in new engine and throttle body and got her going week ago. but still not running right.

it is idling at 11/12 hundred revs and boppy on exhaust like overfueling or so on so on. . think badly mapped :cursing: talked to few lads and they say for my setup which was close to 250BHP at 0.6 boost the 550 injectors are too big and standard ones to small. . that there will always be slight idling hick ups but i dont know and lots of lads are very happy with the way theres turned out. . so half thinking of bringing it over there and give ye a chance Confusedcared: lol.

and thanks for all the help marc, steve, everyone ye all been great help

I got 495cc / min from that calculator for a 250 BHP car.

Everything is as nothing does.

I don't know much but a fuel pump with less pressure? If you could reduce it to 35psi, would match.

Marsdendean I hope you get it sorted. Steve had an AFR meter to check everything was OK on the fueling side, think that saved him from a slight problem he was having?

ya couple of lads were saying that i might get my hands on one thanx

On the injectors, the standard ones would probably be ok at 250bhp, but pretty close to their limit. I am running 257bhp but put in the 550cc injectors to be on the safe side, since one of the aims of my project was to stick very much on the side of safety, not to run right close to the limit.

550cc injectors are, I think, with hindsight, a bit bigger than they need to be for that sort of power, but then again I'm not sure what the alternative is. I think that Jamie is/was running with injectors of 330cc or so, and I don't know which cars those came from, but I believe they had a different number of holes for the fuel delivery compared to the OEM injectors - and I really didn't like the sound of changing something like that, personally.

As I said to Ian via PM, my car idles fine, at the right sort of speed (around 650rpm).

With the e-Manage Ultimate, you can tell it a new size of injector compared to the original injectors, and it automatically works all the fuelling out for you. Actually I found out that isn't how my map was done by Noble, they effectively did the fuelling "manually".

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
