Well chuffed with myself, as I fixed my own car yesterday, with the coil pack from ebay,

My sister came round with the same problem with her car, took the coil pack out of mine and put in hers, as exact same car, just hers is a 1.4 and mine is 1.6

and worked perfectly, so told her needs a coil pack, she going to order from ebay, and when it comes looks like ill be fitting it myself.

Love it when you dont have to pay a garage !

Whats next I can do? or maybe just wait for something else to go wrong on my car and then try to fix it?

Big Grin

Its an Astra so it will go wrong again mate, but now you will be able to fix it.

Maybe you're best off sticking to fixing cars and not driving them ?

Just kidding mate, it's great that you sorted it, and it's a satisfying feeling to have done something a garage may have charged you loads for.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
