I'm officialy a car mechanic !?
Well chuffed with myself, as I fixed my own car yesterday, with the coil pack from ebay,
My sister came round with the same problem with her car, took the coil pack out of mine and put in hers, as exact same car, just hers is a 1.4 and mine is 1.6
and worked perfectly, so told her needs a coil pack, she going to order from ebay, and when it comes looks like ill be fitting it myself.
Love it when you dont have to pay a garage !
Whats next I can do? or maybe just wait for something else to go wrong on my car and then try to fix it?
Its an Astra so it will go wrong again mate, but now you will be able to fix it.
Gord Nice one mate  fitting supercharger next job hock:

There's no better feeling than saving massive £££'s
I saved around £400 last month doing my headgasket myself
*cough* with phil and oli's help
only joking mate, you did well for not even being a mechanic!
But nice one aswel saraj
Maybe you're best off sticking to fixing cars and not driving them ?
Just kidding mate, it's great that you sorted it, and it's a satisfying feeling to have done something a garage may have charged you loads for.
Steviewevie I was waiting for someone to say that, its something which Stav suggessted when I repaired the body work of my car, when I crashed it twice !
Its a learning curb for me, and I enjoy working with cars...
DJ Wozza Well done Saraj, brain surgery next !! Whoop !! Whoop !!
jsj24uk Sorry to crash the thread but I fixed my Micra today. I tightend up two bolts on the door. I felt well chuffed.
