Window Wiper Smear.. .
Window Wiper Smear.. .

Tedious post but, I'm experiencing smearing on my front windshield and it's winding me up a treat. Are there any hydrophobic products I can treat my screen with? Or anyone recommend a good treatment / cleaner?
When I first got the car it *must* have been treated with something as (and I jest not) I didn't really need to use the wipers in the rain. Think that's wearing off now
Ta much.

Do you not just need new wiper blades ?

Oh and I think it's Glym who do a screen cleaner that repels water .. I have some in my cleaning box somewhere, I'll check for you, tis great stuff
i used a 3 stage wipe system from wurth over the winter and that was very good. rain and snow just went without wipers. and i heard to use a piece of an apple to clean and restore your blades

If you clean your windscreen with a bit of glass cleaner or vinegar, and the new wipers still smear it, there is something wrong with the new wipers.
