Im buying a car in about 2 months, have a 4k limit and my first choice is an is200. Im looking at 51/02 plates with around 80k and a manual gearbox, there going for 3.5-4 in my area.

Can anyone give me a good reason why NOT to buy one....Thanks

tsk Ian, double posting....

Welcome to the forum Chris Smile fair few IS200 owners on here, so ask anything you like - and to answer your question I can't think of a good reason NOT to buy one, unless you can maybe pick up an IS300 instead? More power, all the same looks etc, only downside is they're auto only...

The boot is tiny, and the boot lid struts do get in the way, they are a bit to slow for the "executive" status, poor fuel economy.

If you can get an IS300 far better car all round with very good auto box and same fuel economy!!

Good points LOOK AT IT:p and UTTERLY RELIABLE.
