while your looking for nessi look out for the haggis on the hills....you will know them when you see them they have two legs longer than the other two,why you ask???so they can run round the steep sloped hills...lol....
Lockness is fun for kids, funny thing is your always looking for the moster even when you know deep down it can not be true.
I went when i was around eight and never once did my eye not search for that monster lol.
I remeber passing through a few locks to get to the lake is that still the case?
Travel around the west side of Scotland it is very nice, maybe go across to the Isle of Sky.
What ever you do i am sure your love the beauty the country has to offer...
If your going to inverness you've got to go to the Culloden visitor centre & do the virtual tour & battle thing, makes the hairs stand up on the neck that does!!! and make the effort to stop in past Aviemore (it's on the way) there is loads of stuff for the kids there, that's where i take the kids every summer, & the landmark centre is good for younger kids, nice bit of the country allthough expensive, but hey, it's only money, hope you have a good trip whatever you decide.
P.S. i did the castle thing with the kids, they didn't thank me for it, bored them stupid, they much prefer Aviemore
