Good guide, need to do mine again at some point fairly soon.

Always found that putting the tin of paint in a small bowl of hot water (with the lid off) made it so much easier to work with.

That's a very good tip. I always find the paint a little on the thick side. I have tried thinning it down in the past.

Painted my calipers red, and just ordered some White Carbon decals.
Dave did you give yours a coat of lacquer after you applied them, as this seals them and keeps the **** off them.
Shame about your type of locking wheel nut, that type always look so dirty and black- spoils the whole look of the wheel. My brother has the same prob with his Avensis.

1990 Eunos Roadster in Mariner DU blue
Cobalt cat back, Decat pipe, 15in Red Rota GT3 alloys, Toyo tyres, Lowered on Coil overs, Red anti roll bars, 14degree timing mod, white dash kit, illuminated side marker lights,
Halo ring headlights, OEM windblocker, Bluetooth streaming HU, Blue leather handbrake and gear lever gaitor, Centre brake/tail light mod, Blue velour door cards, Polished cam cover, Polished front strut bar, 4xheadrest speakers, JDM floor mats, Suede semi dish steering wheel,

No I didn't lacquer them. I painted them red on my last Lex with white decals and I didn't lacquer them. They lasted OK.

I have to agree with you on the locking nuts they don't look nice. I polished up the other wheel nuts while they were off though Wink
