Lexus IS200 TTE Red Arbs
Lexus IS200 TTE Red Arbs
Ok I'm finally getting my rear arb fitted tomorrow :thumbup:
I'm just wanting to know what difference if any there will be by using the different holes, ie what handling & ride quality differences will there be .
Cheers Moley
Come on guys no one got an opinion on this ???
The holes further out will provide a slightly softer setting, allowing a little more roll and a bit more compliance over bumps. To be honest your best bet is to set it on the harder setting and go for a ride. If you find it acceptable then stick with it. If you find its too harsh the change it to the softer setting. Its very quick to change from one to the other
Ok that sounds like a good plan :thumbup1:
as said moving the link to the furthest out hole makes no diff......the holes were put their so you could put the anti roll bar link as straight as you could,it depends how low you are to what hole you use, if they are at an angle they can bend very easy..tony at wim has also explained this.......
Moley, are you replacing the drop links as well, or are you just hoping to stick to the originals? I got a quote from Lexus yesterday of £194.58 all in for front and rears.....and that was with my discount . Looked on ebay and you can get all 4 for about £60, but they are made in Thailand, so could potentially be turkish delight.
Well my front arb is fitted already and I've have got new drop links for the rear, but will see if I can get the arb fitted without changing the drop links, and if I can they will be up for sale
