I find my mirror (2000) is very hard to judge when reverse parking.
Maybe it's just me being a $hit parker but my mirror makes everything seem very close.
Could i just put a replacement mirror over the top of original or does the mirrors change with different years ?

Is that the weird convex mirror? If so then yes the later cars (like my 2002) don't have that mirror, it's just a normal one.

Its not just you, I can't use that type of mirror either. Can't really see how it helps anyone, why not use a normal mirror?

When I bought my car, the car I test drove was a 2000 model with that horrible mirror - it was actually almost a dealbreaker as I didn't want to live with a mirror that makes it really hard to judge distances with a quick glance, then he told me the new cars have normal mirrors and the deal was done :thumbup:
Also don't understand what the use of those mirrors, maybe to be able to see your kids in the back seat as well?

the toyota's now have a rear view camera screen in the mirror
