I remember reading that preface lifts are 10mm lower and face lift are 15mm lower then standard.
Is this correct???

TTE springs are a 30mm drop, but again people with early cars (like Stevie) have seen a slightly bigger drop than 30mm.

I'm not sure it's quite as simple as that - early SEs and Sports were much higher than later SEs and Sports.......I don't know what changed, but something did so really have no idea what will happen.

Yes mate tte springs are 30mm drop, but as Dean says your better of getting some aftermarket springs rather than sport ones

Yes mate tte springs are 30mm drop, but as Dean says your better of getting some aftermarket springs rather than sport ones

Marsdendean ^^ Do coilovers lower the car if you get adjustable ones? I thought they just stiffen the suspension, and havn't asked the question, and im unsure!
Depends on the coilover I think, some do nothing, some are height adjustable, some can adjust damping

Ideally i want to lower mine sometime in the future, and was going to by ARBS, but then decided i may need some dampening ones, for when i have weight in, so the springs dont compress too much
You can't do all 3 as one option was "do nothing" :tongue_smilie:
But yeah a lot of them can adjust height and damping, if you get the Teins with EDFC you can eve adjust the damping from the control unit inside the car but I don't think those ones are cheap.

Mine was dropped 40mm I got the same springs Ormi had before he got coilovers, may be worth seeing if he's still got his old suspension with the lowerering springs fitted and if he's selling them.

But you're right, if you're thinking of getting coilovers don't bother with lowering springs.
