IIRC around 180bhp stock, can either chip or remap

usual route for around 250bhp:

Intercooler
Exhaust
Filter
Remap

PS( My figures arent exact, jsut what i believe i remember lol)

Doesnt take alot to get to the 300bhp mark, in terms of kit, but money is a virtue

IHI Turbo conversion (larger tubby)
clutch
brakes
usual stuff really

Yeah Ed doesn't say whether it's the Cupra or Cupra R. Different map IIRC, one makes 180bhp and the other makes 225. A past housemate had a Cupra (180) and I can tell you that they are very safe cars to be in in a crash...

That's not bad, so maybe around £1k gets you an extra 70bhp? :thumbup1:

well if Ed has the 180bhp one then a remap (£400 ish) will see him to around 220bhp/230bhp on its own

if he has the 225bhp one then it will see him around 250bhp/260bhp,

so 50/60bhp for £400

but obviously if you add the other items which will as you say probably total around £600 ish then remap it the figures will be better than above.

but a hugely tuneable and easily tuneable engine

Hope you enjoy it buddy

I had a play with one of the Cupra R's last week on a private road.

He gave up trying at 135 lol

Its the 180bhp Cupra. Cupra-r's are still pretty **** expensive for a goodun. Going to fit a cupra-r splitter and forge DV to it straight away. Planning on then getting an APR remap on it as it has cruise control meaning I can switch between stock 180bhp, 207 bhp (95RON) and 215bhp (98 RON). The Revo remap mentioned previously is 207bhp only though a little cheaper.

After that who know - the idea is to keep it like above for a while at least but you guys know what im like! I'm sure i'll have an FMIC before to long lol.

Still going to stick around just a shame I can't bring the car into too many of the places we go lol.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).
